Japanese Home Cooking with a Veteran Local Instructor
Discover the warmth of Japanese home-style cooking in an intimate cultural experience guided by a seasoned instructor — a teacher to both local and native students. With gentle English interpretation throughout, you’ll learn to cook fluffy white rice the traditional way, using a Donabe (Japanese clay pot), and explore the subtle flavors of regional Miso as you create your personalized Miso soup. The experience concludes with a beautifully presented full-course meal: a harmonious balance of main dish, seasonal sides, dessert, and a calming cup of tea.
